IGI Life Vitality came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Daniyal Junaid & Muhammad Waqas put up a decent partnership at the top with Daniyal Junaid scoring 17 off 22 & Muhammad Waqas scoring 24 off 25. The bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup collapsed as batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Muhammad Aamir came in towards the back end of the innings & gave his side some sort of momentum as he played a cameo of 33 runs off just 18 deliveries. Abdul Rehman lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Imran Chughtai, Anus Khan & Shayan Rasheed who picked up a couple of wickets each. IGI Life Vitality were bowled out for 128 runs in 19.3 overs.
Adamjee General Insurance came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Imran Chughtai & Shayan Rasheed put up a solid partnership at the top giving their team a fiery start. Imran Chughtai looked solid before he was dismissed after scoring 43 runs off 42 deliveries. Shayan Rasheed also scored 30 runs off 27 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals but were unable to stop the flow of runs as batsmen chipped in with their contributions taking their team over the line. Khizer Sajid lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Hasnain Haider who picked up a couple of wickets but it wasn’t enough to seal the deal for their side.
