Adamjee Insurance batted first and were off to a terrible start losing their opener quite early in the innings but then Rameez and Hassan got together and nullified the bowling attack with their hard hitting. Rameez was in tremendous form as he struck 76 of just 46 balls, he helped his side to get back into the game after a poor start and then put them on track. He was supported by Hassan Khan who scored 38 of just 26 balls. Summit bank bowlers were clueless against the dup and they took the beating and the partnership helped Adamjee Insurance to a very huge 192 runs.
A brilliant response was required to chase this huge target set by Adamjee and the start that they got was not as bad as Saeed Usmani thrashed the bowling and took the liking of initial bowlers. He helped himself to very good 77 of 46 balls but he did not get much of the support from other end. The rest of the batsmen got starts but could not convert it into big. Nadeem Shad gave a glimmer of hope to Summit Bank with his 34 not out but it was all too late for them as they fell short by just 13 runs
