What a thriller! Aga Khan Gymkhana batted first against AA Pakwan in a match that had everyone at the edge of their seats! Saleem Ahmed's handy 60 and cameos of 26 and 22 runs by Malik and Afzal respectively got their team off to a decent start. Fawad and Jawed Khan then broke the momentum picking up 2 wickets each with Aga Khan Gymkhana eventually ending at 148 for 5 in 18 overs.
In response, AA Pakwan lost opener Kamran for duck but the team continued to keep the scoreboard ticking. Sardar's 33, Muhammad Salman's 31 and cameos in their twenties by Iftikhar and Faraz inched the team closer to the target. Hamid Ali Khan's 3 wickets however helped contain the opposition who despite Touseef Khan's blistering 18 off just 7 balls fell short by just 1 run!
Aga Khan Gymkhana clinched victory by just 1 run.
