Aga Khan Gymkhana batted first against Pak XI in a match of 6th Big Bash Cup which turned out to be a nightmare for Pak XI. The openers of Aga Khan Gymkhana played apocalyptic knocks. Malik Ali smashed 52 of 35 while Pervez Ali played a staggering innings and got unlucky to get dismissed on 99. Both these batsmen made their team reach to a humongous total of 195 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Usman and Hammad from Pak XI took 2 wickets each but overall the bowlers of Pak XI badly failed in front of Aga khan batsmen and were looked helpless in controlling the flow of runs.
The batsmen of Pak XI followed the footsteps of their bowlers and showed a poor performance. Danish and Yousuf were the only ones who scored in double figures scoring 15 and 18 runs respectively. Bowlers of Aga Khan did their job with quite resplendence and bowled the opposition out for just 56 runs in 10.3 overs. Zain and Adil’s 3 and 2 wickets played a key role in destroying Pak XI batting line up
