Super Daddy Cricket Club Vs A&I Properties (ACM Gold League Night)
Israr Ahmed superb performance with the ball helped his side to beat Super Daddy Cricket Club by 4 wickets.
Super Daddy batted first and were off to a reasonable start with their openers, Rehan and Abdur Rehman looking in sweet touch. Both batted sensibly initially, only hitting the loose balls and milked the bowling in the gaps when they did not get any opportunity to smash the bowlers for boundaries. Rehan Sheikh was the highest scorer of the innings with 50. Once the openers were dismissed it was a one man show from then on as Israr Ahmed led the bowling with his fine spell of 4 overs. His spell ripped the heart out of Super Daddy Cricket Clubs batting order as he picked up 5 wickets for just 12 runs. And even after a great batting start, Super Daddy only managed to score 109 due the brilliant effort from Israr.
A&I Properties had to chase only 109 runs but the start that they got was not a perfect one as they lost their opener very early. But A&I Properties had the target in mind and Irfan Ibrahim and Irfan Khan after the loss of first early wicket played sensibly. With their little partnership they took A&I Properties closer to the victory and the job was finished off by Idrees Durrani with his little cameo of 30 of 14 balls. Super Daddy tried hard with the ball but it was always going to be a tough task to defend a low score of 109 and in the end A&I won comfortably by 4 wickets.
