Al Basar Halari Hawks triumph over Okhai Stars

Okhai Stars came in to bat first & faced a mixed bag of performances from their batsmen. The openers, Ali Alam and Shakir Serang, provided a solid start with scores of 37 off 20 and 16 off 18, respectively. Shakeel Ghaziani contributed with a quickfire 22 off 16 towards the end of the innings. However, despite some promising starts, the rest of the batting lineup couldn’t capitalize on their starts, and the Stars were unable to put up a commanding total on the board. Suleman Saleem led the bowling attack for Al Basar Halari Hawks, taking two crucial wickets. Yousuf Halari, M Bilal, Salman Hussain, and Hamza Ashraf also chipped in with a wicket each to restrict Okhai Stars to a total of 162 for 8.

In response, Al Basar Halari Hawks came out with a clear intent to chase down the target. The openers, Bilal Aslam and Suleman Saleem, provided a blistering start, scoring 28 off 13 and an impressive unbeaten 72 off 59 balls, respectively. Suleman’s innings was the cornerstone of the Hawks’ chase, as he displayed finesse and aggression with the bat. Yousuf Halari contributed with 27 off 30, adding stability to the middle order. The Hawks’ batting depth was evident as Abdul Rehman played a crucial unbeaten knock of 23 off 16 balls to take the team to a comprehensive victory.
