Ali Sports won by 5 wickets against Camran CC in the match played at Hill Park.
Batting first Camran CC posted a handsome total of 160 runs on the loss of 6 wickets. Opener Daniyal Liaquat scored 75 runs on 61 balls to give his team an outstanding start. The middle order batters struggled to hatch up solid partnerships. Zubair and Najeeb provided stability by scoring 30 odd runs respectively to take their team to a decent total of 160 runs.
Ali Sports’s bowling effort was fairly supported by all the bowlers as 6 bowlers took 1 wicket each. However, high economy rates for Raza, Hamza and Zia aided Camran CC in scoring such a total.
Ali Sports started of their innings in a solid way as their openers got a partnership of 60+ runs up the order. The middle order batter Owais Rehmani’s unbeaten innings ensured Ali Sports victory over Camran CC. Raza Mehar also scored crucial 16 runs innings to take his team over the line. Arif Khan scored 45 on 38 balls supported by Ali Raza’s 24 runs on 32 balls. Despite the lower order batting collapse the batters did manage to take their team over the line.
Camran CC bowlers failed to defend their small total as only two of their bowlers could take 2 wickets each.
