KALSOFT KNIGHTS vs ROYAL GROUP FALCONS

Royal Group Falcons battled Kalsoft Knights in this thrilling match of the Al-Wakeel Cricket League. It was a day where scoring runs was an easy job, as both teams batted well and a decent total was set and chased later. Royal Group Falcons batted first and did not have an ideal start. The top order trembled and things did not look good for Royal Group Falcons until Zohaib Ali came to bat. He not only held the innings together but also kept on scoring boundaries which provided his team the much needed acceleration. He was joined by Kamran who displayed similar action and together they ensured a competitive total for their team. Zohaib Ali played a superb knock of 64 runs which came off in 46 balls. Kamran stayed not out but was unable to reach his well-deserved half century by just 3 runs as he scored 47 runs off 32 deliveries. 2 wikcets each were claimed by Alishan and Usama Khan while Farrukh got one wicket. The first innings ended with Royal Group Falcons scoring 166 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
At the start of the second innings, Kalsoft Knight were in need of a good start. Unfortunately the top order had no answers for the excellent bowling by Irfan. Irfan dismissed the openers one after another and created a lot of trouble for Kalsoft Knights. Jallal Ovais got Danish Dossani and created huge amount of pressure for the batting side. Muzzamil Khan came in to bat and showed signs of calmness and stability, but the other end was in complete misery as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. After the fall of the 6th wicket came Alishan and good times started for the Knights. Muzzamil and Alishan kept on placing the ball in the gaps and gaining the momentum. Soon both these batsmen reached their half centuries and the target was well within their reach. It was the 19th over when Kalsoft Knights chased the target and won the match by 4 wickets.
