Naakians Vs All Green (20 Over Match)
A high scoring clash ended with All Green holding their nerves to chase down a massive total of 179 against Naakians.
Naakians batted first and were off to a reasonable start with their openers Mustafa and Shahid picking up the gaps at regular intervals and building up a good little opening partnership. Both of the openers smashed 3 boundaries each and gave a good platform to rest of the batsmen. Once they were dismissed Usman Mian took the initiative and played a sensible and a quick knock in the middle to put Naakians infront. Usman’s 57 of 28 included 3 massive sixes and 6 fours. The innings was ended on a high with the late flurry from Usama and Umair as they scored 21 and 23 respectively with 1 six each. In the end they managed to score 179.
With chasing a huge score of 179 All Greens wanted their openers to provide a good start and they did more than that they contributed together more than 100 runs. Both openers hit smashing fifties to give their side a brilliant start which put them on the driving seat. Sameer with 57 scored 5 sixes and 5 fours and his partner during his 59 hit 3 maximums and 7 fours. The opening partnership almost sealed the match in favour of All Greens but Naakians tried to come back in the game as they picked up quick middle order wickets but again a quick late cameo from Usman of 27 completely put Naakians out of the contest and in the end the target was chased down in 18 overs.
