Friends XI batted first and were off to a good start as the openers gave a good platform and smashed the bowlers in early stages of the innings. Zohaib Ahmed scored 11 whereas his partner, Tahir Iqbal scored a very good 56. After the openers gave a good start, Friends XI lost their way a little in the middle overs as they lost few quick wickets. Fareed Agha and Faisal then stabilized the innings in the middle and scored 26 and 20 respectively. The bowlers on the other hand, did a pretty decent job as Imran picked up 3 wickets whereas Khurram Rangila picked up 2. In the end, Friends XI managed to score 166 in their 20 overs.
In response, Alliance Sports were off to a good start and scored some quick runs at the top with help their openers. Mehboob scored 16 whereas Saad Ahmed scored 44. After the openers, middle order propelled the score forward, Idrees and Talha scored 24 each and took Alliance Sports closer to victory. Israr Ul Haq scored a crucial 50 at the end to give Alliance Sports a very comfortable victory in the end.
Alliance Sports won by 6 wickets in 17.5 overs.
