Allied Friends Vs Steel 11 (Khas and Viper Season 2)
Allied Friends batted first and were off to a reasonable start as their openers formed a nice little partnership at the start. Mustafa Mazhar with one brutal six, scored 44 of just 38 balls whereas Mustafa Dada could not bat for long but supported Mustafa Mazhar with his 11. Once the openers were dismissed Anjum and Haris took the innings forward as they scored 26 and 16 respectively. Once they were dismissed the bowling side came back strongly and dismissed the lower middle order without much contributions from them. Kamran Saleem was the most impressive bowler as he picked up 3 wickets for just 17 runs. In the end Allied Friends managed to score 140.
The chase was a modest one but the start from Allied Friends bowlers put them on the driving seat right from the start. They applied pressure on Steel 11 batsmen and did not give them easy runs which ended up in a cluster of wickets. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals and due to this they never got any momentum. Rizwan Khalid fought at the very end but it was a lone effort and a little too late for Steel 11 as they fell short by 25 runs. Khurram Shahzad and Haris Maqbool were the pick of the bowlers as they picked up 3 wickets each to give their side an easy win.
