Allied Friends batted first and were off to a dream start with opener Mustufa Mazhar's fantastic knock of 90 runs off 57 balls. The team lost a few wickets but were in control at all times. Haris Maqbool also contributed a fiery 43 runs that proved to be valuable to his side. Bawa's bowlers were unable to stop the flow of runs and did little to limit the opposition. Sohail Mansha was the only notable bowler for his side, taking 2 crucial wickets and fighting hard to break the momentum. Allied Friends posted a total of 188 in 20 overs.
In response, Bawa Defence lost their opener Imran for just 9 runs. The team struggled throughout the innings, losing wickets regularly and unable to get going at any stage. Ahmed Waqar (48) and Kashif Khalid (38) fought hard to keep their wickets intact and the scoreboard ticking but received little support from the rest of the team. Zaeem Jawed, Sharjeel Maqbool and Amir Shehzad Booti took 2 wickets each, stumping the opposition. Bawa's batsmen were helpless against an in-form bowling attack and were eventually bowled out for 170 in 19.5 overs.
Allied Friends won the trophy by 18 runs.
