Service Dolphins v Rental Falcons

Service Dolphins batted first, losing opener Nasir for just 2 runs. His partner Saad though was the top scorer for his side, leading from the front with an impressive 33 run knock that came off just 25 balls. The rest of the batsmen however were unable to get going and with only 8 overs to play, were limited to a very modest total. Falcons bowlers Arif and Naseer did well to restrict the opposition, picking up a wicket each. Tasbih also did damage to the side with an economical spell, giving away only 8 runs in 2 overs. Service Dolphins posted a target of 59 in 8 overs.

Rental Falcons were off to rocky start, losing both their openers early on in the innings for just 8 runs. Waseem and Nazeer however lead their team to recovery and a eventually a very comfortable victory, scoring 26 and 17 runs to chase down the total in only 6.3 overs. Hunain and Saad picked up a wicket each for the Dolphins but were unable to defend their team's low total. Rental Falcons won by 8 wickets and cruised to the finals.

Allied Premier League- Semi Final-2

Rental Titans v AML Robusters

AML Robusters batted first losing their opener Zubair just 4 runs. The team stumbled throughout the innings with minor contributions from a number of their batsmen that kept the scoreboard ticking. Titans bowlers were in-form and on fire with Abid leading the attack, getting rid of the two opening batsmen. He was further supported by Muzzamil who also picked up 2 wickets to limit the opposition. Some brilliant piece of work in the field also resulted in 2 run outs which shifted the momentum in favor of the Titans. Robusters batsmen M.Ali and Taskin were the only valuable contributors for their side, scoring 15 and 18 runs respectively to help boost their team's total. AML Robusters posted a target of 61 in 8 overs.

Rental Titans were absolutely ruthless in their chase with the top two batsmen getting the job done. The opening duo of Sumair and Haider scored 28 and 23 runs respectively and sealed a clinical victory for their side. None of the Robusters bowlers were able to take a wicket or limit the flow of runs. Rental Titans won by 10 wickets and secured a place in the final.
