Alpha CC and Sigma Associates went against each other on 14th November at Lawai Cricket Ground.
Muhammad Yousuf Halari and Raheel Abdul Majeed gave a stunning start to Alpha CC. Yousuf struck a half-century at the strike rate of 164.71. However, he lost his wicket on 56 runs to Saad Baig. On the other hand, Raheel added 35 runs to the score. Saad Baig and Ashir Ali stood out of the bowlers, as they bagged 2 wickets each. Cameos by Faizan Azam and Arsal Ali of 20+ each were crucial to the score. Hence, Alpha posted a total of 190 runs.
Sigma Associates had a poor start to the innings, as both the openers lost early wickets. The top-order miserably collapsed and the bowlers dominated. Though Ashir and Syed Hassan stabilised the innings by scoring 30+ runs each. However, the bowlers were ferocious, as all of the 5 bowlers dismissed 2 batters each.
As a result, Sigma Associates lost all their wickets at the score of 136 runs in 18 overs only.
