Shan XI batted first and lost their opener Waqar Ahmed early in the game just for 1. After his dismisal Fahad Ali was joined by Noman Ampara, they both batted sensibly ensuring that they do not lose anymore wickets and also they kept the scoreboard ticking. The bad balls were hit for boundaries and singles were picked in between. The partnership was going well but both batsmen were removed by Sajid Kath who had an excellent day with the ball picking up 3 crucial wickets for just 25. The late order for Shan XI did what was required both Kamran Ahmed and Akhtar Mohammad ended the inning on a high for Shan XI scoring quick 28 and 17 respectively.

With a reasonable target of 161 on the board Shan XI were confident of defending it but Amadeus Super Cricketers had other ideas. The start was ideal for them all top three batsmen got runs for them and put them on track. Adnan Moiz and Ibad Anis struck 40's both looked positive. After their dismissal there were 2 more quick wickets of Ali Asif and Huzaifa Mustafa fell both for duck. This gave Shan XI an outside chance of victory but Ali Naqvi had other plans he along with Umair Zahir and Zahid Akhtar made sure that there were no more hiccups in the chase.

Fahad Ali was the most impressive bowler for Shan XI but he also couldn't save his side from defeat he picked up 3 wickets for 20 . In the end Amadeus Super Cricketers chased the target with ease in 18.2 overs with 4 wickets remaining.
