Nexus batted first and were off to a slow start as they lost quick early wickets which put them on the backfoot. Sumair Patel, on the other hand held one end together and other batsmen revolved around him. He made a very crucial contribution of 40 from 28 balls in his team’s total. He hit 2 sixes and 5 fours. His effort was carried forward by Zain Zaidi who scored 21 of 13 balls with 2 fours and 1 six. The bowling was good from Amadeus Super Cricketers they kept the pressure on and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Rizwan was the most destructive bowler as he picked up 3 wickets. Sajis also bowled a splendid spell as he picked up 2 for 13 in his 4 overs.
Amadeus had a great start with the bat. Faizan and Adnan smashed the bowlers from ball 1. They added more than 70 runs together in the opening partnership which sat up the match very well for them. Faizan scored 36 of 28 balls whereas Adnan scored 43 of 28 balls with 2 sixes and 4 fours. Ibad and Ali carried the momentum forward and struck another important partnership. Ibad scored 36 of 25 and Ali partnered him well with 15 of 12 balls. The bowling was ineffective from Nexus as they could not pick up wickets and let the batsmen score freely in the end Amadeus comfortably chased the target down in 17 overs.
