AMMAR SPORTS vs DMC 1 (RAMZAN LEAGUE)
DMC 1 were outplayed by Ammar Sports in this exciting match of the Ramzan League. Starting off Ammar Sports were a bit shaky. Ammar Sports were in troubles when Saad failed to capitalize his promising start and the rest of the top order crumbled. DMC 1 were on top of the game until Bilal came to the crease. He scored a fiery knock of 35 runs in just 17 balls and shifted the momentum his team’s way. The bowlers were successful in taking wickets but failed to stop the leakage of runs. Asad took 2 wickets for 14 runs in 2 overs, but his team gave away 24 extras. This enabled Ammar Sports to score 98 runs at the end of 8 overs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Ammar Sports were dominant on DMC 1 since the start of second innings. With the top order failing to contribute significantly, DMC 1 knew they were in trouble. Saeed was the lone warrior as he scored 32 runs off 20 balls. He got some assistance from Hameed who scored 20 off 17. But an economical and effective bowling performance by Zubair and his team was the differentiating factor between the two sides. Zubair claimed 2 wickets for 5 runs in 1 over while Abdur Rehman got 1 wicket for same amount of runs. The rest of the bowlers were also in top form as they restricted DMC 1 to 67 runs for 4 wickets at the end of 8 overs.
Ammar Sports won the match by 31 runs.
