Suleman Textile Stallions and Gigi Gladiators locked horns at IBA cricket ground in an important match of the Memon Super League Season 2. Stallions batted first and lost Faizan and Talha Ahmedani early. Nauman Ampara was also run out for a duck and Ali Mehar knocked 22 runs and Farrukh Rangoonia was the highest scorer with 46 runs off 30 deliveries at a strike rate of 153% to help his team post a decent total of 146 runs for loss of 7 wickets in the allocated 20 overs. For Gladiators, Adnan Ghazi and Israr Ul Haq took 2 wickets each while Anas Ahmed got a wicket.
In reply, Gladiators lost their man in form Shakir Serang early after he had scored 8 runs but the hero of the innings was Atif Ahmed who knocked 89 runs off 52 deliveries at a strike rate of 171% and remained unbeaten and ensured his team got home comfortably in the end. Adnan Salim also made a notable contribution with 26 runs off just 11 balls as Gladiators lost only 4 wickets and got home with about 4 overs to spare.
Gigi Gladiators won by 6 wickets.
