Southend Champions Vs Southend Penguins
A splendid partnership by the champions that sent a shiver down the penguin's spine.
Southend Champions were off to a flying start. With only one batsman down, the Champions were able to knock a total of 235 runs in 20 over's. Now that's a ravishing total. Mohsin Lakho and Sundar were absolutely brilliant with the bat, where they both carried a 199 run partnership. The team mates were over joyed because of their outstanding performance. It was a defendable total for the Champions.
The start of the second innings gave signs off a quick knock out for the Penguins. The top order was demolished by Dhermoon from the Champions side. We did see Asif Hayat score a half century for his side and Nadeem Mehboob also scored 38 runs, but that was just about it. Guess the Penguins were shivering with the fact that they had to chase such an enormous target. The Penguins tried their best, but in the end it was the Southend Champions who emerged victorious and won by 76 runs.
