The City School Darakhshaan Campus triumphed over Lyceum in what turned out to be a closely contested match at the KGA Cricket Ground.
City Darakhshaan elected to bat first, posting a very defendable total on the board. All the batsmen contributed to the cause, but Saad Paracha and Ghazanfar Bilal were the stand outs making 36 and 35 respectively. Zaid Irfan picked up 2 wickets for Lyceum, restricitng City School to 138.
In response, Lyceum were bowled out for just 125. Osama Ejaz produced an absolute gem of a spell, dismantling the Lyceum batting line up with his 5 wickets. Shahrez Tariq and Umer Khanani were the only main contributors with the bat for Lyceum, scoring 23 and 22 respectively. However, they were unable to salvage anything for their side, as they fell 12 runs short of the target.
