City Tiles and Eyeland went against each other on 2nd November at DHA Cricket Ground.
Battinf first, City Tiles posted a total of 136 at the loss of 8 wickets. Moiz Sultan and Azfar Saleem opened the innings, scoring 16 and 17 runs respectively. The following three batters lost their wickets on ducks. Shayan Mateen dominated with the ball, as he bagged 4 crucial wickets. In addition to this, Asif Feroze took 2 wickets while Mubashir Awan took 1. Credit to Yahya Rizwan’s innings of 57 runs, the team was led to a stable score. His innings included 11 fours and 1 six.
The chase was started by Khubaib Salman and Chaudhry Saif, as they scored 11 and 28 runs respectively. None of the batters were able to stand on the crease with commitment, as the bowlers were intelligent with their tactics. Jibran Saeed and Owais Sikander dismissed 3 batters each, while Faizan Shoaib bagged 2 wickets.
Hence, Eyeland were restricted to a score of 102 runs in 19 overs at the loss of all wickets. Therefore, City Tiles won by 34 runs.
