Classic Garments went against Kruddson CC in the match played at Eastern Star Ground.
Batting first, Classic Garments were off to a shaky start. As the top three batters failed to enter into double figures. However, decent support came from middle order batter Umair Tariq who scored a scintillating 60 runs innings. Other batters contributed with their small double figure contributions. In this way they posted a total of 136 runs. On behalf of Kruddson CC, Gulzar Ali led the pack by taking 4 wickets in his 2.5 overs. Khurram and Fahad took 2 wickets each.
In response, Kruddson CC’s batters failed to provide a decent start. Uzair and Kashan contributed by getting into double figures. Riaz provided some support in the middle order but their batting order collapsed to a total of 82 runs only. The fantastic bowling effort of Classic Garments was led by Abdul Rehman’s 4 wickets, and Shahid Nepal’s 2. Mukarram and Taji took 1 wicket each.
