Daewoo CC batted first and were off to a shaky start losing their openers without much contribution from them. Fahad Chishti and Haq Nawaz then got together and scored some useful runs for their side. Haq Nawaz could not bat for long and was dismissed for 19 of 17 balls but Fahad went to score a very crucial 50 of just 37 balls with 4 sixes and 2 fours. Once they were dismissed, Talha Faheem propelled the score forward and scored 26 of 20 balls with 1 four and 1 six but Cocoon Home bowlers did not let them finish on a high as they ran through the lower order, Raza Tahir and Yasir Manzoor picked up 2 wickets each to restrict the opposition to 153.
The chase never really got going, Cocoon Home threw away all the chances they had in the second innings and played some reckless shots. The bowling on the other hand, was outstanding. The bowlers were not defending a huge score but yet they bowled their heart out and picked up crucial wickets at crucial points. Each bowler played their part, Noman picked up 2 wickets upfront to set the tone of the innings, and then Shahid, Fahad and Umer followed and also bagged two each. Cocoon Home were folded for just 101.
