ICT Vs CoCoon Home (ACM Day T20 Tournament)
Cocoon Home's opening pair flew past ICT's balling attack and took their side to celebrate a superb victory.
The first innings was a precise one for Cocoon Home, as they batted first with Yasir Tanveer and Bilal Chinnioti as their opening pair. Both of the players, showcases absolutely brilliant batting skills and knocked the ball around, hitting massive sixes. Both of the players were on top form and it was almost as if they were giving a target to ICT to chase. Yasir Tanveer scored 78 runs off 45 balls and Bilal scored 81 runs just off 61 balls and remained not out till the inning ended. The ICT bowling attack was not able to stop these two players and thus Cocoon Home scored a total of 177 runs in 20 overs.
ICT were to chase the total of 177 runs in the second innings, with Ali Iqbal as their opening batsman. Ali gave his side a good start and hope of winning the match, by scoring 56 runs off 45 balls. But that was just about it from him and the entire batting order of ICT. None of the batsmen after Ali were able to make a difference and get some decent runs on the scoreboard for their side. Raza Tahir was the star bowler for Cocoon who picked 3 wickets. Cocoon Home did not only perform well with the bat, but also with the ball and they ensured that ICT was not going to chase the target and dismissed the whole team at a total of 128 runs. Cocoon Home won by 49 runs.
