Cocoon batted first and were off to a bright start with their openers Fahad Jabbar and Bilal Chinioty batting with confidence at the top. They gave a perfect platform for their side with their top partnership, Bilal Chinioty was the main contributor and he smashed the bowlers all around the park, he smashed 4 mighty sixes during his brilliant score of 85 which came of just 54 balls, he got great support in Fahad Jabbar who smashed 24 of just 13 balls which included 3 fours and a six. Once the openers were dismissed, Irfan Khan propelled the innings forward with another contribution, he scored 47 of just 29 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. Anas and Humayun also played little quick cameos of 19 each to take the score to 215 in 20 overs.
Khas in response were disappointing, there innings never really got going and they crumbled under pressure and threw away their wickets. But credit to the bowlers as well as they bowled their hearts out and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Maeez and Arif were the most impressive bowlers on display and they broke the backbone of Khas batting line as they picked up 3 wickets each. Rest of the bowlers also supported them and kept the pressure on the batsmen with their fine line and length. In the end, Khas lost by a big margin of 77 runs.
