Cocoon Home batted first and were off to an incredible start as their openers laid a perfect platform for rest of the batting lineup. Bilal Chinioty was at his very best as he struck 3 sixes in total during his brilliant half century which came of just 40 balls. He dictated terms during his stay and was supported by Humayun Alamgir who scored 31 of 26 with 6 fours. Once the opening partnership was ended the bowling side came back strongly picking up quick wickets with Israr Ahmed leading the way, he picked up 3 wickets and gave away 25 runs. But still Cocoon managed to end on a high as Anas and Kamran partnered together to give their side a fighting score of 164.
The second innings was a disappointment for A&I properties supporters. They lost 3 early wickets which damaged their plans of chasing a reasonable score. Maeez Waqar was brilliant with the new ball picking up 3 wickets and at the economy of just 4.50. Rehan Nazim on the other hand, was determined to take his side over the line as he played some extra-ordinary shots. He scored 67 runs and hit 4 monstrous sixes. The innings gave a ray of hope to A&I Properties but he was fighting the lone battle and once Rehan was dismissed there was no one that challenged Coccon’s bowling and in the end A&I lost by 18 runs.
