Comtech Associate win a low scoring thriller

M Tex batted first & their innings got off to a rocky start as they lost three early wickets. Moin Afridi and Feroz Bhatti tried to stabilize the innings with their respective contributions of 27 runs off 28 balls and 28 runs off 15 balls. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to find their footing and collapsed under the pressure exerted by Comtech Associate’s bowling attack. Saad Sakhawat proved to be the standout bowler for Comtech Associate, claiming an impressive three-wicket haul. His accurate bowling and ability to pick up crucial wickets at crucial moments put M Tex on the back foot. Muhammad Salman and Muhammad Anas also made valuable contributions, picking up two wickets each to further dent M Tex’s hopes. M Tex was eventually bowled out for a modest total of 112 runs in 18 overs

In response, Comtech Associate began their innings cautiously but lost two early wickets. Abdul Rehman and Deedar Azeem then combined forces to stabilize the innings. Rehman scored 25 runs off 18 balls, playing some aggressive strokes, while Azeem held the innings together with a patient knock of 34 runs off 38 balls. However, M Tex’s bowlers managed to keep the pressure on and picked up wickets at regular intervals. Afzaal Rao stood out among the bowlers, claiming two important wickets to keep his team’s hopes alive but it was too big of a task for him to achieve alone.
