Cousins Power v Youngster CC (20 over match)
Cousins Power batted first and were met with a ferocious bowling attack. The team lost wickets regularly and only gained stability when Waqas Siddique (43) and Saad Hashmi (38) stuck to their wicket and contributed runs to the side. Asmat was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 huge wickets! Mati Ullah and Ajmal also did damage to the opposition, picking up 2 wickets each. Cousins Power simply could not catch a break and were eventually bowled out for 161 in 18 overs.
Youngster CC lost wickets frequently in their chase before Nasir stepped in to score a fantastic knock of 75 runs. The team seemed to be winning the match at this point but lost wickets in quick succession at the very end and were unable to meet the target. The team lost by just 1 run in perhaps the closest match we've witnessed to date. Sajid Siddique, Emaad Hashmi and Sharjeel Yunus did well to contain the opposition, picking up wickets and stopping the flow of runs.
