D Stars won against NXTH Travel on 25th July, by 50 runs.
The first innings were started by Stars, as Subayyal Arsalan and M Alam Bhimani smashed 43 and 58, respectively. Zaid Imtiaz shone with the ball, as he bagged 4 wickets. A cameo by the one-down batsman, Hasnain Deriwala, helped Stars set the target of 151 runs.
Much to Travel’s dismay, the second innings started with them losing early wickets. The batting line up failed miserably, with Tariq Ahmed Khan scoring 25 runs. None of the other batsmen were able to cross this milestone. Asad and Obaid Ghazi were the star bowlers, as both bagged 2 wickets each. In addition to this, Ghazi conceded only 13 runs, at an economy rate of only 4.33.
Due to the combined efforts of the batsmen and the bowlers, Stars emerged winners.
