3rd MTAX CPL Night Cricket Tournament: Viper XI took on Dairy Land on 7th December, 2015 at Moin Khan Cricket Academy
First innings started with Viper XI posting a very defendable score on the board of 163 runs over 9 wickets. Ahmed Shoukat top scored with 34 runs in 23 balls which included 1 six and 3 fours. Shoukat and Tayab scored 23 a piece to ensure Dairyland had to chase a target at more than 8 runs per over.
The Dairyland chase began with both openers confident of overhauling the score easily. However it was not meant to be a walk in the park as Dairyland lost their top four cheaply to send the cat amongst the pigeons. With the momentum changing swiftly, Hassan Umer took over the stage and smashed 60 in 33 balls and was well acccompanied by Bilal Umer who both stayed till the end to win the game by 6 wickets with 2 overs to spare.
