Another exciting match of Khatri Super League was played in which Khatri Dolphins batted first against Khatri Stags. Openers Abdul Hameed and Asad provided a good start to their team and scored 30 runs each. But the batting line up tottered badly after the departure of both of them. Usman’s 24 runs from down the order kept some honor of the team and they got bowled out for 123 runs. The man who stole the spotlight was Khatri bowler Danish who bowled apocalyptically and bagged 8 wickets.
Opener Daniyal and Middle order Danish’s innings of 38 and 24 runs helped stags to cross the finishing line easily. The target was not very big so just small contributions from the batsmen worked for Stags. The bowlers of Dolphins tried their level best to defend this low target but they did not succeed. Asad and Usama were the highest wicket takers of the innings who took 2 wickets each.
Khatri Stags won by 4 wickets.
