Daniyal Liaquat runs havoc over Ridan Warriors

NJS Cuisine came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Their openers Daniyal Liaquat & Hammad Mughal were in fine form & they made full use of their form. The duo completely blew away the bowling attack putting up a partnership of 100+ runs. The duo dominated the bowlers as there was clean power hitting on display from both the ends. Daniyal Liaquat went absolutely berserk & thrashed the bowlers from word go. He made batting look so easy as he hit the ball where ever he wanted. Hammad Mughal departed after playing a fiery innings of 48 runs off just 27 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed but that totally unfazed Daniyal Liaquat as he kept on playing the same way. Despite wickets falling in clusters he was hitting the ball with mighty ease. Daniyal Liaquat displayed an absolute master class of power hitting as he played an innings worth all the appreciation. He played a world class innings of 146 runs off just 63 runs. Afnan Karim bowled an excellent spell picking up 5 wickets but it wasn’t enough to restrict the batting side. NJS Cuisine posted a mammoth total of 258 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.

Ridan Warriors came in to chase this daunting task & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. They never seemed to recover from the onslaught they received from the first innings. The batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. fayyaz hussain was the only notable batsman as he played a sublime knock of 87 runs off 45 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him to achieve alone. Abdul Rehman Sr tore apart the batting lineup single handedly picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Haider Razzaq who picked up a couple of wickets. Ridan Warriors were bowled out for 19.3 overs.
