Dawood Academy went against Kruddson CC on 19th December at TMC Ground.
Batting first, Kruddson CC posted a target of 148 runs at the loss of all wickets in 19.5 overs. Shehbaz Attari opened the innings with 23 runs. Muneer Ur Rehman was stunning, from Dawood Academy, as he bagged a 5-wicket haul. He was dominant in the starting and middle overs, as he bagged the wickets of 4 consecutive top-order batters. Osama Ahmed attempted to stabilise the score by adding 37 runs.
Raza Ahmed Khalid and Ghazi Nasir opened the innings fro Dawood. They lost their wickets on 23 runs and a duck respectively. Wahaj Riaz, Mehmood Shah, Ahsan Ali Shah and Syed Meher Ali added 20+ runs to the score each. Saim Raees bagged 2 wickets, however, the collective effort of the batters shone brighter.
As a result, Dawood Academy secured a victory in 19 overs at the loss of 5 wickets.
