DHORAJI STRIKERS vs KBM SPORTS (RAMZAN LEAGUE)
In this fixture two exciting lineups challenged each other and produced excellent cricket. KBM Sports batted first and had a forgettable start. Khurran was sent back to the pavilion at the score of 4. Ejaz kept hold of one end, but that’s all what he did as he could not score at a decent rate. He scored 9 runs of 15 balls which added the amount of pressure for other batsmen. Umer and Waheed scored 14 and 11 runs respectively. Zahid took 2 wickets and KBM Sports were restricted to the total score of 60 for the loss of 2 wickets after 8 overs.
Dhoraji Strikers had an initial setback, as they lost opening batsman Qadir at the score of 6. But the joy for KBM Sports was short lived, as Rahil and Madni launched a counter attack. Rahil scored 21 runs off 11 balls and Madni scored 22 in same number of balls. This partnership proved to be fatal for Dhoraji Strikers. Shahrukh was the only wicket taking bowler for KBM Sports. He took his only wicket for 13 runs but Dhoraji Strikers easily chased the target after losing just 2 wickets.
Dhoraji Strikers won the match by 8 wickets.
