Hawks went out to bat first and were off to a steady start. Mubashir was looking good but he could not convert his start into big innings as Amir Nisar dismissed him for 11. After Mubashir, Sumair and Kashif got together and added more than 80 runs together. Their partnership pushed Brothers to the backfoot. They also added runs at a quicker time, Sumair scored 49 of 33 whereas Kashif scored 43 of 30 balls with 1 six. They both were playing well but brilliance in the field resulted in their dismissal as both got run out. After them, Tayyad and Abdul Rahim propelled the score forward and added 33 and 27 runs respectively and at a quick time. In the end DMC Hawks managed to score 184 in their 20 overs.
Brother’s innings got off to a promising start as their openers laid a perfect platform for their side. Yousuf and Adnan batted with purpose and scored 31 and 41 runs respectively. They gave their side a perfect start and an opportunity to chase down this big score. After they were dismissed the middle order for Brothers carried the innings forward, first Atif and Saad batted together and added 16 and 24 respectively then it was Waqas who scored 15 of 6 balls but they all could not convert their starts to big scores and once they were dismissed Hawks came back with all guns blazing and picked up wickets in a heap to leave Brother in tatters. For Hawks, Kashif picked up 3 wickets whereas Abdullah got 2 and in the end they restricted Brother to just 159 in 20 overs.
DMC Hawks won by 25 runs.
