Downtown Chowdhurys came in to bat first & were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Noman Zafar & Muhammad Abis put up a partnership partnership with Noman Zafar playing a solid knock of 42 runs off 33 deliveries & Muhammad Abis scoring 22 off 20. Farhan Maxii came in & he scored 27 off 18. Muhammad Talha Siddiqui came in & he scored at a healthy rate. He scored 34 runs off 22 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Naveed Palari lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Ahsan Kumrat who picked up a couple of wickets. Downtown Chowdhurys posted a total of 178 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Air Pakistan Express Jet came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing half of their side inside the powerplay. The batsmen never seemed to find their footings from the word go as the bowlers bowled at attacking line & lengths making life difficult for the batsmen. Muhammad Sharoze Uddin Siddiqui departed after scoring 41 runs off 33 deliveries. Ahsan Kumrat managed to score 27 runs off 29 deliveries where as Farooq Khan played a fiery innings of 46 runs off just 15 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Sufiyan Zafar, Adnan Shah & Balach Ali managed to pickup a couple of wickets each. Air Pakistan Express Jet were bowled out for 152 runs in 19.1 overs.
