DR. Junaid Ali Shah Cricket Team came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Farrukh Rizvi & Irfan Mushtaq put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. Irfan Mushtaq did the bulk of the scoring as he hit the ball towards all parts of the ground making full use of the powerplay. He played a sublime knock of 50 runs off just 22 deliveries. Farrukh Rizvi kept the score board ticking from the other end. The bowlers then managed to make their way back into the match. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Farrukh Rizvi stood tall from one end but wickets kept falling left right & center as the batting lineup completely collapsed. Farrukh Rizvi played a fighting knock of 68 runs off 40 deliveries. Azan Hadi was unplayable as he picked up 4 wickets. He found good support from Danish Ahmed Farooqui who picked up a couple of wickets as well. DR. Shan Foods came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Adeel Abid Shamsi & Banin Akif managed to put up some sort of a partnership getting their team right on track. Banin Akif departed after scoring run a ball 27. The bowlers then managed to pickup a couple of quick wickets. Fakhar Alam came in & played a cameo of 23 runs off 11 deliveries. Adeel Abid Shamsi was also dismissed as he played a sublime knock of 57 runs off just 33 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to tighten things up picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths which made it difficult for the batsmen to score. Nadeem Akhtar lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Shah Faisal who picked up a couple of wickets.
