Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Muhammad Salman provided stability to the innings as he played a sublime knock of 53 runs off 50 deliveries. Abbas Naqvi scored 23 off 21 & Misbah contributed with his 20 off 16. The bowlers managed to pickup wickets at regular intervals keeping the batsmen in check. Malik Aftab lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Tauqeer Rafiq Bajwa who picked up a couple of wickets as well. Dubai Islamic Bank posted a total of 147 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Al Baraka came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers then never let go off the momentum as they dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Azhar Shah was the only batsman who showed some sort of a fight back as he scored 17 runs off 21 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Misbah was unplayable with the ball in hand. He lead the bowling attack picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Abdul Moeed, Waseem Ali & Abdul Muqeet who picked up a couple of wickets each. Al Baraka were bowled out for 50 runs in 12 overs.
