Faysal Bank came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers kept the momentum going towards them as they kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the top order completely collapsed. Faizan & Abdullah Jameel then put up a partnership of 50+ runs. Faizan was dismissed after scoring 23 runs off 19 deliveries. Abdullah Jameel stood tall but he was running out of partners as the bowlers were picking up wickets at regular intervals from the other end. Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. Despite loosing 2 wickets they were stoll scoring at a high rate. Meesum played a sublime knock of 54 runs off just 23 deliveries. The bowlers then managed to pickup wickets at quick successions. Waseem Ali stood tall from the other end keeping the scoreboard ticking. He played a fiery innings of 42 runs off just 23 deliveries taking his team over the line. Muhammad Arif & Muhammad Tufail picked up a couple of wickets each but it was too little too late.
