Pak Qatar Takaful batted first & they faced early setbacks, losing a couple of wickets in the early stages of the innings. Iftikhar Ali played a brilliant knock, scoring 62 runs off 45 deliveries, providing stability to the innings. Abid Qadri contributed 25 runs off 28 balls. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting lineup collapsed under pressure. Zohaib Ali Khan was the standout bowler claiming an impressive four-wicket haul. Umer Hussain and Hamza Rizwan also chipped in with two wickets each. Despite their efforts, Pak Qatar Takaful could only manage to post a total of 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Chasing a target of 141 runs, EFU Life Assurance had a strong start as their opener Zohaib Ali Khan played a brilliant innings, scoring 60 runs off just 38 deliveries, providing a solid foundation to the chase. Zain Hussain contributed 14 runs off 14 balls, while Yamman Khan scored 29 runs off 21 deliveries. Osama Ahmed played a quickfire innings, scoring 27 runs off just 9 balls towards the end of the innings.
