Parco Vs AKU A (20 over match)
An impressive 55 by Ejaz helped his side in beating AKU A by 4 runs at Aga Khan University.
Parco batted first and were off to an impressive start as their openers, Ibrahim Akhtar and Khalil Bugti laid a solid foundation. They did not throw their wickets; Ibrahim Akhtar was the aggressor as he scored a quick 33 whereas Khalil Bugti partnered him well. After the loss of the openers Haq Nawaz and Ejaz utilized the start provided by the openers. They smashed the bowlers all around the park in their impressive partnership. AKU A were clueless against them. Ejaz specially thrashed them on his way to a brilliant 55 of 34. Haq Nawaz was not so far behind with his 45 which took their side to a very good 162.
AKU A in their chase also got a good start from Rizwan and Zeeshan but both could not capitalize on their good start as both were dismissed for 11 and 19 respectively by Imran. Soon after them 2 more quick wickets fell and then Rehman and Amin Noorani joined each other. This was a very good partnership as it bought AKU A back in the game. Rehman scored 39 and Amin Noorani scored 43 but unfortunately their impressive partnership was not enough as even then AKU A fell short by 4 runs. Muhammad Ahmed picked up 3 wickets and was pick of the bowlers.
