F.C. Sports Vs ZMCC (20 Over Match)
Shahid Mukhtar shines as F.C.Sports easily beat ZMCC by 8 wickets at RLCA Gulberg.
ZMCC batted first and they might regret batting first as Shahid Mukhtar of F.C.Sports destroyed them and their hopes of posting a good total. From the very beginning ZMCC were on the backfoot as they lost their opener Nazim for a duck. ZMCC never really got going only a bright little period came when Danish Moeen and Afzal Qureshi were at the crease, they scored 45 and 21 respectively but that did not stop Shahid Mukhtar from breaking the backbone of ZMCC innings. He picked up 5 wickets for just 18 runs in 4 overs to restrict the opposition at just 129.
After the wonderful bowling performance, F.C.Sports batsmen did not disappoint too. The openers Ibrahim Sheikh and Ali Iqbal got them off to a flying start. They were sensible at the top smashed every lose ball and kept rotating strike to unsettle the bowlerts. After Zeeshan Momia dismissed the openers, Shuja Ali and Ali Meher carried the good work forward. The platform given by the openers was used perfectly by Number 3 and 4. They made useful contributions to finish off the job. F.C.Sports batsmen were never really troubled by the bowlers and in the end they chased down 129 easily in just 14.3 overs.
