Daewoo CC batted first and it was a display of fine hitting from Fahad Jabbar in the first innings. He was in prime form and dominated the bowlers from ball one. He picked up 10 fours and 1 mighty six in his marathon effort. He scored 88 of 52 balls and even though he kept losing wickets at the other end but he kept playing in his own way. The contributions were also made by Haq and Danish with they both scored 17 and late in the order Shahid Ali scored a quick 36 of just 22 balls with 3 fours and a six to prosper the score to 182. The bowlers went for plenty but Hunain was by far the pick of the bowlers as he picked up 2 wickets for just 22 runs.
The ICT innings during the chase never really got going. Shahid Ali was the star with the ball picking up 3 wickets for just 19 runs with an economy of 4.75. He set the tone of the innings with his marvelous spell. Also, Fahad Jabbar after his heroics with the bat, contributed with the ball as well, he picked up 2 for 8 in 3 overs and Waseem Ali aslso picked up 2 wickets. ICT were clueless against brilliant display of bowling and there was very little resistance from their batsmen, only Ali Iqbal scored 36 of 18 balls and rest of the batting faltered. In the end Daewoo won easily by 62 runs.
