Contour Software batted first and were off to a solid start with both openers Imad (28) and Usman (36) contributing runs with the bat. Mahmood Hussain then carried forward the momentum, scoring an impressive 57 runs at a strike rate of 190. Ajdal CC bowlers then fought back, picking up a few wickets to try and stop the flow of runs. Daniyal and Abdullah were the key bowlers for their side, taking 2 wickets each. A late cameo of 25 by Amir propelled Contour to set a massive target of 201 in 20 overs.
Ajdal CC were off to a rocky start, losing their opener early on in the chase for just 10 runs. His partner Faiz however decimated the bowlers with a blistering 68 runs that came off just 34 balls and included 6 boundaries and 5 maximums. He was then joined by Faraz who simply took the game away. He played an innings of 80 runs at a strike rate of 275, with little support on the other end, he singlehandedly won the game for his side. He hit 9 sixes. Contour's bowlers had no change against this onslaught and despite last minute heroics by Mahmood Hussain who picked up 2 wickets, the game was already in favor of Ajdal CC. They chased down the total in 17 overs.
