In a thrillingg match this past week, Abu Bakar Associates beat ZMCC Ramzan by four wickets at the RLCA Gulberg.
ZMCC batted first and produced some brilliant knocks. Tariq Malik made 25 from 25 and M Bilal made 37 from 17. They scored 134 in 19.2 overs for the loss of ten wickets. Faizy and Faizan both took three wickets each while Asif Khan, Nadeem and Ahmed Farooq took three wickets.
For Abu Bakar, the ray of hope came when Faizan took to bat as he scored 83 runs from 73 balls and remained not out, thus guiding his team to victory. Thanks, also in part to the poor bowling from ZMCC which gave Abu Bakar an extra 21 runs to help them pick up the win.
