Falcon Sports crowned champions

Falcon Sports came in to bat first in the all important final & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a high rate. Moid Farooqi played a cameo of 14 runs off 8 deliveries. Khanshah managed to score 13 off 10. Umar Riaz & Sarosh Ejaz put up a decent partnership. Sarosh Ejaz was looking solid before he was dismissed after scoring 23 runs off 24 deliveries. The bowlers managed to pickup another quick wicket. Hammad Mughal came in & completely turned the game upside down. Umar Riaz & Hammad Mughal put up a partnership of 50+ runs. Hammad Mughal came in & upped the anti as he scored freely towards all parts of the ground. Umar Riaz departed after playing a sublime knock of 63 runs off 40 deliveries. Hammad Mughal played a fiery innings of 44 runs off just 28 deliveries boosting the team total to a challenging total. Hussain Raza was able to pickup a couple of wickets but the rest of the bowlers went for plenty. Falcon Sports posted a total of 171 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Faraz Sports came in to chase down this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. Jaseem Khan & Rehan Rashid then put up a partnership which settled the nerves of the batting side. Jaseem Khan was looking good before he was dismissed after scoring 31 runs off 20 deliveries. Rehan Rashid followed him soon as he departed after scoring 26 runs off 17 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers then made their comeback as they started to pick up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as they failed to cope up with the pressure of the final & the bowlers took full advantage of it bowling at attacking line & lengths. Ali Abrar & Khanshah were absolutely unplayable as they tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets each. Sarim Khan & Farhan Sheikh picked up a wicket each. Faraz Sports were bowled out for 99 runs in 14 overs.
