Faysal Bank and Shan Foods went against each other on 6th November at the Hill Park Cricket Ground.
Sheraz Ali and Azeem Shamsi opened the innings for Faysal Bank. While Sheraz scored 37 runs, Azeem got out on a single run. Syed Asim Imtiaz displayed a good effort, as he smashed 81 runs off 50 balls. His innings were crucial for Faysal Bank. Danish Ahmed Farooqui emerged from the bowlers and knocked 3 wickets. Hence, Faysal Bank posted a total of 167 runs.
Majid Khan and Abdul Rehman opened the innings to chase for Shan Foods. However, they displayed a mediocre effort, as Majid scored 9 runs only while Rehman was dismissed at 36. Adeel Abid Shamsi also lost his wicket at 36 runs. Tahir Raza and Afaq Ahmed Khan bagged a three-wicket haul each.
As a result, Shan Foods’ batters were restricted to a score of 135. Hence, Faysal Bank won the match by 32 runs in the 17th over.
