The Friends CC VS Butt Brothers played on Sunday, 6 December,2015.
Butt Brothers batted first and opened with Asad and Noman.After a breezy 11, Asad was run out which brought Owais to the crease. The two got together and started building the foundation for a big score with Noman scoring 30 and Owais playing a whirlwind hand of 61 off 36 balls, an innings which included 3 sixes and 9 fours. Unfortunately the other batsmen could not capitalise on the start provided and thanks to brilliant spells by Shoaib and Ahsan who picked up 3 and 2 wickets repectively, Butt Brothers could only manage to score 158 for the loss of 8 wickets in their alloted 20 overs.
Confident that the score was manageable, FCC opened the innings with Khurram Amin and Sherry Shah. Soon the ball was seen going to different parts of the ground as Khurrum secured 67 runs off 60 balls, which included 4 fours and a towering 6. His partner Sherry (47) was also busy through out his stay at the wicket but was unlucky to miss out on a much deserved half century. After Ahsan picked up the wicket of Sherry,Ali Sohail(26) came to the center and along with Khurram took the FCC to a comfortable win in 17.2 overs with 9 wickets in hand.
