GFS Builders and Developers went against Bouchia CC on 6th December at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy Ground.
A Mateen Jakwani and Abdul Aziz opened the innings for GFS, scoring 23 and 11 runs respectively. Sameer Javed stabilised the innings with his knock of 47 off 32. Mujataba Raza, the lower-order batter, played a cameo of 36 runs at the strike rate of 225. Hasnain Bouchia and Haris Kamdar bagged 2 wickets each for Bouchia CC. Hence, GFS posted a total of 165 runs at the loss of 8 wickets.
Bouchia CC opened the innings with Ahmed Asif and Shahbaz Attari, scoring 1 and 5 runs only respectively. Yasir Ahmedani was playing at a strike rate of 92; however, he got out at 23 runs by M Mohsin. Sameer Javed and Taha Arsalan were stunning with the ball, as they dismissed 4 and 3 batters respectively.
As a result, GFS’s bowlers were successful in defending their score. They restricted Bouchia CC to a score of 78 runs in 15 overs. Hence, winning the match by 87 runs.
