Rims Lions were off to a rocky start, losing opener Umair for just 4 runs. Muzammil Mehboob and Adeel Iqbal then stepped in to stabilize the innings, scoring 50 and 32 runs respectively to pull their team back in the game. Controversy then struck the game in the 4th over of Anas Ahmed's spell after he was on-fire picking up 2 wickets for the Gladiators. Both teams were unable to come to any resolution and Rims Lions eventually forfeited the match.
